Cleary Gottlieb associate Sarah Libowsky has been selected to receive one of the City Bar Justice Center (CBJC)’s 2023 Outstanding Pro Bono Service Awards.
As one of just ten recipients, Sarah was recognized for her exceptional legal advocacy, equipping New Yorkers of limited resources with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively represent and advocate for themselves through the Justice Center’s Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Project. Through a partnership with CBJC’s E.D.N.Y. pro se clinic, Sarah has helped a range of pro se litigants navigate their court cases through limited-scope consultations and short drafting assignments.
The Outstanding Pro Bono Service Awards honor the recipients’ commitment to CBJC’s clients, their leadership in pro bono, and their advancement of CBJC’s mission to further access to justice for the NYC community. The awards ceremony will occur on October 25.
