Cleary Gottlieb represented SimCorp in its acquisition of Equipos for a total cash consideration of €10 million. Prior to the acquisition, SimCorp owned a 20% stake in Equipos, an award-winning software developer and leading international supplier of client reporting solutions for investment and wealth management firms. The acquisition signed on 25 February and closed on 28 February 2014.
Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Denmark, SimCorp provides investment and portfolio management software and services to leading institutions in the investment management industry. Its shares are listed on the NASDAQ OMX Nordic exchange.
