Cleary Gottlieb is representing SoftBank Group International (SoftBank) in its equity investment in Univision Holdings Inc. (Univision) in connection with Univision’s acquisition of the content and media assets of Grupo Televisa S.A.B.
The combination will create the largest Spanish-language media company in the world Televisa-Univision.
The transaction signed on April 13, 2021, and is expected to close in 2021.
