The Bank of New York’s $2 Billion Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented the underwriters in The Bank of New York’s offering of $1 billion floating-rate callable senior medium-term bank notes due 2028, $600 million 4.582% fixed-rate/floating-rate callable senior medium-term bank notes due 2029, and $400 million floating-rate callable senior medium-term bank notes due 2029.

The underwriters for the offering were BofA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Wells Fargo Securities LLC, Samuel A. Ramirez & Company Inc., and BNY Mellon Capital Markets, LLC. The transaction priced on August 17, 2026, and is expected to settle on August 24, 2026.
