Cleary Gottlieb is representing TPG in the sale of Evoltz Participações S.A. (Evoltz) to Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board.
The transaction was announced on May 10, 2021.
Evoltz is a leading electricity transmission platform in Brazil. Founded by TPG in 2018 with the acquisition of seven transmission assets from a judicial recovery process, Evoltz now operates and maintains a network of more than 3,500 kilometers of electricity transmission lines across 10 states in Brazil.
