Cleary Gottlieb partner Derek M. Bush contributed an article entitled “Resolution Planning and the Volcker Rule” in The Banker’s How to Run a Bank 2012, a comprehensive guide to international banking in the new financial environment.
Mr. Bush’s article says that by working with regulators, banks can create a more constructive environment in which the two can work together, however, the political nature of the Volcker rule presents a whole new set of challenges.
