Salim Benayad’s practice focuses on German and European competition law, domestic and international litigation and arbitration matters and European data protection law.

Salim acts as counsel to clients in a wide variety of international litigations and arbitrations, with a particular focus on cartel follow-on damages litigations, commercial litigation, and post-M&A disputes. He also assists clients with enforcement matters and interim relief.

In addition, Salim advises on European data protection issues, in particular on data privacy considerations in discovery matters and cross-border transfers of data.

Salim joined the firm in 2022.

  • A sports federation in arbitration proceedings against the decision on the awarding of media rights to matches.

  • A manufacturer of laser printers and imaging products in proceedings brought by a network of companies that remanufacture printer cartridges regarding the manufacturer’s printer certification with the Blue Angel environmental label.
