Valentin Rougier’s practice focuses on international arbitration, litigation, and public international law.

He represents private clients, States, and State entities in disputes across a wide range of jurisdictions, institutions and rules (ICSID, ICC, LAMC, and CCJA), as well as in arbitration-related court proceedings. He also has experience in human rights matters, including proceedings before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights and the United Nations Committee against Torture.

Valentin joined the firm in January 2024. Prior to joining Cleary, he was an associate in the Paris office of another international law firm.
