Cleary Gottlieb Named Champion of Justice by DC Volunteer Lawyers Project

Cleary Gottlieb has been named a Champion of Justice by the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project (DC VLP) for its pro bono representation of domestic violence survivors living in dangerous circumstances.
Cleary received the 2019 “Pro Bono Partner of the Year” award for its partnership with the organization. Since the inception of the firm’s partnership with the DC VLP in April 2017, Cleary lawyers have performed over 1,500 hours of pro bono legal services to domestic violence survivors. In December 2018, the DC VLP also recognized Cleary associates as “CPO Attorneys of the Year” for their pro bono representation of victims of domestic abuse.
