Cleary Gottlieb Participates in Leaders for Literacy Roundtable

Cleary Gottlieb participated in a roundtable for law firms and in-house teams as part of our longstanding charity partnership with the National Literacy Trust.

Established in 2020, the Leaders for Literacy in Law roundtable is a collaborative initiative to support the great work of the National Literacy Trust to improve the literacy skills of disadvantaged children.

Partners Christopher Moore and Nallini Puri and Pro Bono Managing Attorney Byron Spring joined representatives of various international law firms and in-house teams to discuss the important role of the legal profession in supporting child literacy and social mobility in the United Kingdom.

Cleary in London is proud to have supported the National Literacy Trust since 2016, and is a signatory to the UK Vision for Literacy Business Pledge. In 2022, Cleary won the inaugural Collaboration Award at the National Literacy Trust Business Awards in recognition of the firm’s extensive support to the National Literacy Trust through volunteering and fundraising.
