Cleary Gottlieb pro bono immigration attorney Kyle Dandelet has received the 2021 Immigrant Justice Award from Immigrant ARC.
The Immigrant Justice Award recognizes an individual “who has gone above and beyond in their efforts to support the community of legal advocates as they fight to increase access to justice for all immigrant New Yorkers.”
Kyle was interviewed by Immigrant ARC as part of the recognition and spoke about what inspires him to pursue pro bono work, what one of the most impactful situations has been for him in his current role, what the most rewarding part of his job is, and what changes he would like to see in the immigration system. Kyle will be presented with the award on September 29 at a ceremony in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
