On June 26, 2020, Regulation (EU) 2020/873 amending the Capital Requirements Regulation to make a comprehensive set of adjustments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic (“CRR Quick Fix”) was published in the Official Journal.
It entered into force and generally applied from June 27, 2020. The CRR Quick Fix is based on the Commission’s legislative proposal of April 28, 2020, but includes additional measures introduced during the co-legislation process.
