Cleary Gottlieb hosted the Global Financial Institutions Group and Capital Markets Group forum, “Developments in Capital Markets: Navigating Emerging Regulatory Frontiers - Tokens, Prediction Markets, AI, and Beyond,” which brought together leading practitioners from across the firm to explore some of the most consequential developments shaping global capital markets and financial services today.

The event featured three panel discussions covering prediction markets, the rapid evolution of tokenization and digital asset frameworks, and the increasing use of AI across financial institutions, alongside the broader regulatory and legal questions these developments raise across jurisdictions. Cleary partners Brandon Hammer, Igor Kleyman, Sarah Lewis, Bernardo Massella Ducci Teri, Jennifer Morton, Deborah North, and Ferdisha Snagg, and counsel Prudence Buckland and Laura Prosperetti participated in the event.

Deborah, Ferdisha, Sarah, and Laura spoke on the first panel, “Prediction Markets – What’s Driving the Attention?”

Bernardo, Brandon, Deborah, Ferdisha, and Jennifer spoke on the second panel, “Tokenization and Crypto – Emerging Legal and Regulatory Frameworks.”

Ferdisha, Igor, Jennifer, and Prudence spoke on the third panel, “AI in Financial Institutions – Use Cases, Governance, and Risk.”

In addition, Cleary partners Samuel Levander and Christopher P. Moore participated in a panel discussion on Wednesday, June 3, during London International Disputes Week 2026.
