Cleary Gottlieb advised Google on the antitrust aspects of its $32 billion acquisition of Wiz, Inc., a leading cloud security platform headquartered in New York.
The deal closed on March 11, 2026.
The transaction represents a significant investment by Google Cloud to accelerate two major trends in the AI era: improved cloud security and customers’ ability to use multiple clouds. As of the closing date, Wiz will join Google Cloud.
